My blog is going back to being just that — my blog. My little body shape shop that I started almost a year ago, mela’s, now has it’s own little home on the web which you can find here. It’s being featured on the Fashion Planet feed, as well.
If you are part of the mela’s update group but somehow missed the latest notice that I sent out, make sure you take time to check out the notice archives soon. We’re giving each member one free posepack, but this is a time-sensitive offer. The deadline to send in your notecard is Saturday at 11:59 PM!
Please note that open enrollment to the group has been temporarily turned off, so make sure you’re still in the group after Saturday since I’ll be verifying that all notecard senders are group members. ;) Enrollment will reopen once I’m done sending out the posepacks on Sunday.

Wewt, so I finally finished getting my most recent stuff up on SLEX and OnRez 
I’ve been meaning to get my things on there but never quite got around to it. Over the past couple of days, however, I’ve had several requests from people wanting to send the skin fatpack as a gift to friends… so I figured I should make gift-giving easier for people when they’re not able to find me online. Or if I’m AFK (which is like, 75% of the time ^^).

On a side note, the girls from Poseur have been waiting patiently for their blog to be added to the Fashion Planet feed (they’ve been on the iheartsl feed for weeks now, though… sorry, couldn’t resist :p ) but since that’s not happened yet, they’ve been invited to use Grid Expectations to announce their stuffs or whatever. ^^ You can view their blog at http://lesposeurs.wordpress.com/ and check out a couple of their pose vendors at my shop in La Reina.

Introducing akane, a modifiable body shape that comes packaged with ten skins, available for 500L.
If you’re not looking to get a new shape but enjoy collecting skins, then you can pick up the skins for 40L each. Better yet, you can save 50% by getting all ten skins in a fatpack for 200L.
All skins are sold with three pubic hair options (bare, landing strip, and natural), and include a tintable eyebrow base. (Instructions on how to tint the eyebrows are included with the skins.)

There’s a sim-wide Valentine’s Day treasure hunt happening right now at La Reina! All kinds of goodies stuffed in pink hearts that you can grab for either L$0 or L$1. Stores like Veschi, Fireflies, D!ff, Desmoiselles/Juicy Poses, Lounge, Celeste’s Angels, Davo’s Dancefloors, Digital Eyes… okay I can’t remember all of them -_- but there’s lots!
I’m also participating. Visit my shop, my heart is easy to find ^_^ In it you’ll find the skin that’s shown in the picture above. I’ve thrown in the eyebrows too (just go into Edit Appearance and hit the hair color slider to change them from black to whatever you want), as well as a set of three facelights configured to attach to your chin, nose, or mouth (y’know, options for working around your other face attachments).

When I was rezzed in Second Life (SL) in February of 2007, I had no idea what I was in for. I’d been curious about SL for a long time but hadn’t able to enter this alternate universe with my previous computer.
SL has been a fascinating ride thus far. I’ve met some pretty amazing people, made new friends, explored the complexities and issues peculiar to online relationships, discovered my inner fashionista (it’s like I’m six-years-old again and playing with my Barbie doll, hehe), seen some truly innovative things, and marveled at the astounding educational possibilities SL presents. The best part of it all? Having been exposed to different ways of thinking and perceiving things. 
The Metaverse truly is limited only by what we can imagine.
This blog will be a lot of things: a documentation of my adventures in SL, a place to post pictures I’ve taken in SL as well as those I’ve worked on in Photoshop, a smorgasbord of machinima from both myself and from friends, an unabashed accounting of adoration for clothes I’ve found in SL, a reflection on relationships, a medium for me to vent my complaints about SL issues, and probably other things I haven’t thought of yet.
If you’re ever logged in at the same time as me, feel free to drop a “Hello”. I’ll probably want to snap your avi’s picture and have you over to my house.
